At the aquarium, our kids loved viewing sharks, jellyfish, eels, rays, clown fish, and many more species from the sea. The child-friendly design offers interactive exhibits for hands-on exploration, with a Coastal touch pool filled with horseshoe crabs, sea stars, sea urchins, anemones, and other creatures.
Outside we were able to touch and feed several varieties of rays.
After lunch we visited Texas Discovery Gardens.
Texas Discovery Gardens
The Gardens feature native plants and plant species from other regions of the world that are adapted to the challenging climate and soils of North Texas. So, YES it was HUMID and hot, perfect conditions for all the flora and fauna.
We were very lucky to see beautiful butterflies up close.
